Danny Klima is Ethara’s Venue Portfolio Director, leveraging over two decades of international experience in events and venue management. He drives Ethara’s efforts to build on the organisation’s portfolio of operated assets, explore the creation of new venues to meet the region’s growing demand, and manage high-value CAPEX projects at Ethara’s venues. Danny worked as Programme Director for the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix for a decade; driving strategy, commercial modelling and product development, programme governance, and event execution.

A champion of sustainability, Danny also leads Ethara’s efforts in developing and overlaying sustainability initiatives across the portfolio of venues and major events, while contributing to global initiatives, including the United Nations Sports for Climate Action working group. His commitment to event and venue sustainability reinforces Ethara’s dedication to environmental responsibility and innovation.
